📚 Book Day at Numont School: reading, costumes and imagination

At Numont School, Book Day is more than just a date on the calendar — it’s a true celebration of imagination, creativity, and, of course, the love of reading.

This year, our students and teachers enjoyed an unforgettable day filled with activities that reflect our educational philosophy: learning through fun, sharing, and letting imagination soar.

🎭 Characters come to life: A school full of costumes

One of the most anticipated moments of Book Day at Numont is when the hallways transform into a parade of characters straight from beloved stories and novels. From our youngest learners to the oldest — and even the teachers — everyone dressed up as their favorite literary heroes.

🚪 Doors that tell stories

Each class brought literature to life by decorating their classroom doors with themes from their favorite books. Walking through the school felt like a journey through a living library — Harry Potter, Paddington Bear, The Gruffalo, and many more welcomed us at every turn.

🤝 Older students reading to younger ones: a heartwarming tradition

One of the most cherished activities is seeing our older students visit the Early Years classrooms to read stories to the little ones. This magical tradition fosters empathy, friendship, and a shared joy for reading.

📖Book swaps, songs, and smiles all around

In addition to dressing up, students brought their favorite books to participate in our traditional book swap. Classrooms were filled with stories, group readings, and songs celebrating the world of books.

But the creativity didn’t stop there—students also designed personalized book covers featuring their photos and favorite titles. A unique keepsake to take home, reinforcing their special bond with reading.
