At Numont School we recognize the valuable contribution that a wide variety of extracurricular activities can make to a child’s education.
These activities provide students with enriching experiences that go beyond the scope of the Spanish curriculum.
Girls and boys who practice ballet learn above all strength, flexibility and movement, as well as how to maintain a magnificent posture, with elegance and balance. An initiation suitable for everyone.
This class aims to develop an interest in music from an early age through a stimulating musical environment, combining games and dances in a fun, group setting.
We use educational robots for children to have fun while improving their fine motor skills, group work skills, problem solving and logical thinking.
Chess is a game that complements the learning process and offers lifelong benefits such as the development of concentration, imagination and logic.
This activity is intended for children to work on homework, reading and other projects in a familiar environment, individually or in small groups.
We want the children to have fun and enjoy themselves while learning some basic skills that are used in sports or perform individual and team exercises.
Children learn techniques and skills of their favorite sport, and participate in mini-games and tournaments during class. Fun and team play with friends.
Children will review all the letters and sounds covered in class with fun interactive games and songs. We will also practice speaking and listening skills,
Learn, improve and practice moves and techniques to become a better basketball player. Enjoy the competition and challenge in practice and informal matches. Make friends and play with children from all years at KS2.
It is taught in the spacious facilities of the Tennis Club "Club Deportivo Elemental Topsport" in Avda. de Madroños. Students are transported by bus and picked up by parents before 5 pm.
We offer private lessons (one to one) in English, Spanish, French and piano from Monday to Thursday. Although we can also give private classes in other subjects, depending on the availability of the corresponding teachers.
They are held at the Jiménez Swimming Club in the Conde de Orgaz Park, where the children travel by bus from Numont. It is also where they must be picked up by their parents before 5 pm.
IMPORTANT: all activities are tentative depending on demand.
Children CANNOT change activities during the quarter. Please let us know before the end of each quarter if a child will not be continuing an activity. All classes (with the exception of swimming and tennis) are held at the school’s facilities. Classes are from 3:50 pm to 4:50 pm, except for piano, French, English and Spanish private classes, which can last half an hour or an hour and extend until 5:20 pm.
COST: group lessons cost 135€ per trimester; private lessons (and piano) cost 175€ per trimester for half an hour per week. For one hour per week, the cost is €345 per quarter. The cost of swimming is 210€ per trimester and tennis is 165€ per trimester.
